(The "PROMOTION")

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ("TERMS AND CONDITIONS") BEFORE ENTERING THIS PROMOTION. THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND J SEA EVENT (M) SDN BHD (THE "PROMOTER") ESTABLISHING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH YOU ARE ENTITILED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROMOTION. BY ENTERING THIS PROMOTION, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

    1. This Promotion is open to all Malaysian citizens, aged 18 and above, as well as residents, work permit holders, valid Malaysia pass holders and valid in Malaysia only.
    2. Persons ineligible and excluded from this Promotion are: (a) Employees of the Promoter, Monster Energy Southeast Asia Sdn. Bhd. ("Monster Energy Malaysia"), and their advertising, fulfilment and promotion agencies; (b) Affiliates (defined in Paragraph F.4. below) and subsidiaries and the immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their spouses and household members) of those mentioned in (a) above.

  2. PROMOTION PERIOD

    1. The Promotion starts from 00:00 hours on 1 April 2026 and ends at 23:59 hours on 31 May 2026 (the "Promotion Period").
    2. Any Entry (defined in Paragraph C.2. below) not received during the Promotion Period shall automatically be disqualified from participation. The Promoter is not liable for any lost, delayed or misdirected Entries.
    3. The Winners of the Promotion will be selected on 8 June 2026, or on such other date as may be determined by the Promoter, from all eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period.

  3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

    1. Buy any one (1) can of Monster Energy® product (355ml) in a single receipt (the "Proof of Purchase") from any participating stores in Malaysia (the "Participating Stores") during the Promotion Period and save the Proof of Purchase.
    2. Participants are entitled to one (1) Entry made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (each an "Entry", and collectively, the "Entries") for every purchase of one (1) can of Monster Energy® product (355ml) in a Proof of Purchase.
    3. Participants are required to scan the Promotion QR CODE printed on in-store point of sale materials or log on to www.monstercontest.com.my to participate.
    4. Participants shall adhere to the instructions provided on the Promotion's page, which include uploading the photo of the Proof of Purchase for verification purposes, as well as providing their full name and email address.
    5. Participants are also required to correctly answer one (1) question to be eligible for a chance to enter the Promotion.
    6. Each Entry shall be subject to verification by the Promoter and / or its representatives. In the event the Entry details are invalid as determined by the Promoter's sole discretion, the Entry will be disqualified.
    7. Any Entry that is (i) illegible, mutilated, altered, duplicated, tampered with, or not obtained legitimately, (ii) contains printing typographical, mechanical, or other errors, or the printing is otherwise unclear, or (iii) does not contain complete and accurate information, including the Proof of Purchase required for the Entry, is invalid.
    8. All Entries (including the Proof of Purchase) submitted become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
    9. Proof of Purchase must be dated within the Promotion Period.

  4. PRIZES

    1. There is a total of fifty-one (51) prizes (each a "Prize" and collectively, the "Prizes") across all Participating Stores in Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia.
    2. Prizes are:

      (d) Monster Energy® promotional merchandise (selected at Monster Energy Malaysia's discretion).
      The approximate value of the Grand Prize is MYR 34,000.

    3. Unless indicated otherwise, no other additional and incidental expenses shall be included in relation to the Grand Prize trip, including but not limited to meals and airport pickups, for example. Tickets are subject to availability, as well as the terms and conditions applicable thereto. The Promoter and Monster Energy Malaysia do not guarantee the appearance of any specific athlete, and the absence of any specific athlete shall not constitute a breach of these Terms and Conditions nor entitle the winner to any compensation or substitution of the Prize.
    4. The Grand Prize winner and their guest ticketholder must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of admittance. The Grand Prize winner and guest ticketholder will be required to comply with all venue rules and regulations, including all COVID-19 protocols in effect at the venue at the time of the Event. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize as determined by Monster Energy Malaysia. If, for whatever reason, the Event is cancelled, postponed, or the Event dates change, the ticket terms and conditions will govern, and the Promoter and Monster Energy Malaysia will have no further obligation to the Grand Prize winner.
    5. If the Grand Prize winner and/or guest ticketholder are restricted from traveling to United Kingdom, denied entry at United Kingdom or are prevented from attending the Event in United Kingdom due to any laws and regulations of Malaysia and/or United Kingdom, Monster Energy Malaysia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify the Grand Prize winner from the Promotion. In such a case, the Grand Prize winner shall not be entitled to the Grand Prize. Monster Energy Malaysia shall not be responsible for such inability to travel. In such circumstances, the Grand Prize may be forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
    6. The Grand Prize winner and their guest ticketholder fully understand that (a) the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and any resulting disease (together with any mutation, adaptation or variation thereof, "COVID-19") is extremely contagious and there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any place where people are or have been present; (b) no precautions, including the protocols that may be implemented from time to time based upon public health and government-sponsored guidelines, can eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19; (c) while people of all ages and health conditions have been adversely affected by COVID-19, certain people have been identified by public health authorities as having greater risk based on age and/or underlying medical conditions; and (d) exposure to COVID-19 can result in being subject to quarantine requirements, illness, disability, other short-term and long-term health effects, and/or death, regardless of age or health condition. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter and Monster Energy Malaysia shall not be liable for any illness, injury, loss or damage suffered by the Grand Prize winner or their guest arising from or in connection with exposure to any communicable disease during travel to or attendance at the Event, save where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
    7. Grand Prize winner and their one (1) guest must have a valid passport with at least six (6) months validity from July 1, 2026. Travel must originate from and end at the same airport and Grand Prize winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary. It is the Grand Prize winner's sole responsibility to comply with all travel and entry requirements, which may include, without limitation, presenting necessary identification (including photograph) at the time of travel/entry, and obtaining proper visas and/or UK Electronic Travel Authorizations (UK ETA). Flight schedules are subject to change without notice. Promoter and Monster Energy Malaysia are not liable for any missed Grand Prize events, opportunities and/or expenses incurred as a consequence of any flight cancellations/delays and/or ground transportation delays. Grand Prize winner may be required to provide a credit card at time of accommodation check-in to cover incidentals. GROUND TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED, and Grand Prize winner and guest must make their own travel arrangements to and from the departure airport, as well as to and from the destination airport on both the outbound and return trip.
    8. Monster Energy Malaysia reserves the sole right to select the hotel accommodations for the Grand Prize winner and guest ticketholder, and in the event of a change in venue or accommodations, any difference in value cannot be claimed by the Grand Prize winner. Specific travel arrangements and all Grand Prize details not specified herein will be made and determined in Monster Energy Malaysia's sole discretion.
    9. Multiple Entries by a participant are permitted. Each Entry is valid with one (1) Proof of Purchase only. In the event of multiple purchases in one (1) Proof of Purchase, each one (1) can of Monster Energy® product purchased will be considered as one (1) Entry. For example, a total of ten (10) cans of Monster Energy® product in one (1) Proof of Purchase will have a total of ten (10) Entries.
    10. Each participant is limited to one (1) Prize only throughout the Promotion Period.
    11. Participants will be shortlisted as a winner based on the most correct answer and complete information. Participants who fail to produce the required Proof of Purchase and/or provides a wrong answer and/or incomplete information will be automatically disqualified.
    12. All eligible Entries will be listed (the "List") by the Promoter and sorted in ascending order by fastest receipt by the Promoter during the Promotion Period. The total number of eligible Entries on the List will be divided by the number of Prizes and the resulting value shall be rounded down to the lower nearest whole number (the "Number"). The Grand Prize winners will be the eligible Entries appearing on the list at positions corresponding to the 1st multiplication of the Number. The First Prize winners will be eligible Entries appearing on the list at the position that matches the 2nd multiplication of the Number up to the 51st multiplication of the Number. For example, if there are 1000 eligible Entries, 1000 will be divided by 705 (the total number of Prizes), which will equal to 1.42. Then 1.42 will then be rounded down to the lower nearest whole number which is 1. The participant listed at position 1 on the List will be the eligible winner. The calculation for the next eligible winner will be based on 999 eligible Entries, 999 will be divided by 704 (the remaining number of Prizes), which will equal to 1.42. Then 1.42 will then be rounded down to the lower nearest whole number, which is 1. The participant listed at position 1 will be the eligible winner and the calculation will continue accordingly.
    13. If a shortlisted Entry on the List is disqualified, then the next nearest earlier eligible Entry on the List will be the substitute winner. For example: the replacement winner for the 8th eligible participant would be the 7th eligible Entry on the List.
    14. Winners will be notified via WhatsApp text, phone call and/or email. Winners shall also be notified by WhatsApp text, phone call and/or email on details of how to claim the Prizes.
    15. In the event the Promoter is unable to contact the Winner(s) at the contact details provided or registered with the Entry for any reason, including, but not limited to, no reply, number not in use, no connection, etc. the Promoter may at its discretion make a second and third attempt to contact the Winner(s) within the same day of the first attempt. If the second and third attempt are unsuccessful, the Winner(s) shall be disqualified from the Promotion and shall not be entitled to any Prize.
    16. Winners must present the original Proof of Purchase when collecting the Prize.
    17. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, vary or modify the Promotion mechanism, rules, regulations or Prizes where reasonably necessary, including in the event of circumstances beyond the Promoter's control. Any such amendment will be communicated via the Promotion website or other appropriate channels. Continued participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.
    18. Prizes are available on an as-is-where-is basis and are not transferable, exchangeable or converted to monetary value. The Promoter reserves the right not to award any Prizes or any alternative prizes of equal or greater value, for any reason whatsoever to any participant who fails to meet any stipulated requirement to claim the Prize.
    19. The Promoter shall handle and manage all personal information collected during the Promotion, which contains personal data, in strict compliance with the provisions of the PDPA.
    20. Prizes must be claimed within three (3) weeks of notification of Prize acceptance by the winner. Failure to claim a Prize from the Promoter will be considered as forfeited by the winner.
    21. Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective sponsors and third-party vendors, if any. The Promoter and Monster Energy Malaysia are not liable for these conditions and the use of the Prizes. Any prize pictured in the promotional materials (i.e., in-store point of sale) are for illustrative purposes only.
    22. Any costs and/or expenses associated with the acceptance and/or use of a Prize not specified herein as being awarded is the sole responsibility of the winners. All Prize details not specified in these Terms and Conditions will be determined in Promoter's and/or Monster Energy Malaysia's sole discretion.

  5. VERIFICATION

    1. Entries submitted are subject to verification by the Promoter only.
    2. The Promoter's decision on all matters relating to the Promotion is final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.

  6. OTHER CONDITIONS

    1. All promotional materials, including details on How to Participate and Prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions with any advertising, promotional or publicity materials in relation to or in connection with the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
    2. The Promoter, Monster Energy Malaysia, are not and shall not be held responsible for any delay, error or any other problems in the operation of the Promotion caused by or arising from breakdown, technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer or on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail on account of technical problems and / or traffic congestion on the internet and/or at any website or the telecommunication service or a combination thereof, including injury or damage to any participants or to any other person's computer or mobile phone related to and / or resulting from participating or downloading materials in or in connection with the Promotion.
    3. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, then the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify the Terms and Conditions for this Promotion, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate, without prior notice.
    4. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter, Monster Energy Malaysia and/or their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, their respective advertising or promotion agencies or their respective officers, directors, employees, members, shareholders, attorneys, respective and agents (collectively, the "Affiliates"), shall not be responsible or liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with a participant's participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of any Prize. Participants acknowledge that participation in the Promotion and acceptance or use of any Prize is at their own risk. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit any liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of Malaysia.
    5. The Promoter, Monster Energy Malaysia, and/or their Affiliates make no warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any of the Prizes. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing or anything in these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter, Monster Energy Malaysia, and/or their Affiliates are not liable for any defect in the Prizes. For the avoidance of doubt, no provision in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as limiting the liability of any party for death or personal injury caused by such party's negligence or any liability which cannot be excluded under the laws of Malaysia.
    6. Personal information (including images) collected or received from the participants may be used by the Promoter, Monster Energy Malaysia, and/or their respective agents and agencies for the purposes of administering the Promotion, including conducting background check on the participant's identity and verify their eligibility to participate and receive a Prize. By participating in the Promotion, the participant explicitly allows the Promoter, Monster Energy Malaysia, and/or their respective agents and agencies to contact the participant via the particulars provided for such purpose. The Promoter, Monster Energy Malaysia, values all personal information received and shall not disclose or furnish the participant's personal information to any unrelated third parties (except for their respective agents and agencies for the purposes of this Promotion or when legally required).
    7. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, the Promoter and Monster Energy Malaysia reserves the right to amend, add, replace, vary and / or modify these Terms and Conditions without giving prior notice. By participating in this Promotion, the participant confirms his and/or her acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, including any amendments, additions, replacements, variations, and modifications hereto, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
    8. This Promotion and the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event that any dispute shall arise as to any matter arising out of or in connection with this Promotion and/or Terms and Conditions (including any question regarding its existence or validity), parties agree to first attempt to settle such dispute by negotiations and/or mediation. Parties agree to participate in such negotiations and/or mediation in good faith and undertake to abide by the terms of any settlement reached therefrom. In the event that parties shall fail to settle such dispute by mediation within sixty (60) days from the date such dispute arose, the dispute shall be referred for final resolution by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre for the time being in force, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this paragraph.
    9. The Promoter is J Sea Event (M) Sdn Bhd, whose principal place of business is at No. 168, Jalan SS25/35, Taman Mayang, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
    10. For details, refer to in-store point of sale materials, logon to www.monstercontest.com.my or call 03-7663 4269 (Monday- Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00pm, excluding public holidays). All calls to this number from your phone may be subjected to airtime charges by your service provider.

  7. PRIVACY STATEMENT RELATING TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA OF PARTICIPANTS (this "Notice")

    1. The Promoter values your personal data and is committed to protecting it. This notice clarifies how the Promoter processes your personal data from the point it is collected, used, shared, and stored, as well as the security measures established to ensure your data is protected.
    2. The Promoter may collect personal data from participants, including but not limited to: name; contact information; identification number; and images, statements, or content submitted as part of the Promotion.
    3. The Promoter gathers your personal data from participation forms submitted for the Promotion, communications with the Promoter, and any public sources or platforms as part of the Promotion verification process.
    4. Your personal data is collected for the purposes of administering and managing the Promotion, to contact winners and participants regarding the Promotion, and to use, publish, and/or feature all information submitted by participants, including personal data and images (which may include the participant's name and statements about the Promotion or any related matter), for publicity, advertising, or any other related purposes in any manner whatsoever, including but not limited to the Promoter's publications, websites, or promotional materials. Participants irrevocably and unconditionally consent to such use without further notice or compensation. The Promoter also collect personal data to comply with legal, regulatory, or reporting requirements, and for any other purposes as may be necessary in connection with the Promotion.
    5. Your personal data will primarily be processed within Malaysia. In some cases, personal data may be transferred outside Malaysia for the purposes described above, including to partners, service providers, or regulatory authorities, as permitted under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA 2010").
    6. The participants' personal data will be kept confidential by the Promoter. However, participants agree and consent that for the purposes set out in Paragraph G.4. above, the Promoter may transfer or disclose such personal data to certain parties, whether within or outside of Malaysia. These parties include other partners or participating entities involved in the Promotion who are bound by confidentiality obligations; the Promoter's agents, contractors, or service providers who provide administrative, telecommunications, data processing, or other related services in connection with the Promotion (including but not limited to professional advisers, customer call centres, gift redemption centres, or data entry companies); any Affiliates that owe a duty of care to the Promoter; and any law enforcement agency, regulatory authority, or any other person or entity to whom the Promoter is legally obliged to disclose the data in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, guidelines, or court orders.
    7. The Promoter takes appropriate measures to protect your personal data, including ensuring that personal data is stored securely in compliance with the PDPA 2010, implementing safeguards to prevent misuse by our staff, and entering into contracts or agreements with system vendors, appointed service providers, and couriers to ensure that your personal data is handled securely. Participants are also responsible for maintaining the security of their passwords and are advised not to disclose them to third parties in order to reduce the risk of data breachers.
    8. The Promoter will retain your personal data for a period of seven (7) years or for as long as you participate in the Promotion. Once your personal data is no longer required for the purposes of the Promotion or any legal or regulatory obligations, it will be permanently deleted from our records.
    9. Participants have the right to correct or update their personal data using the designated methods provided (www.monstercontest.com.my), and to request access to the personal data held by us. Participants may also choose to stop receiving promotional communications or withdraw their consent for the processing of their personal data. Please note that withdrawing consent may limit your ability to participate in the Promotion or to receive certain services related to the Promotion.
